So I got this camera for Christmas.
No, wait, let me start somewhere else.
For years and years I have been wanting to take pictures and I always did, with my compact digital cameras. And it always made me sad that they would not express what I saw in it when I took it. Hardly ever, anyway.
Since I now have my camera I have asked myself why I never made the effort to get into photography, get a good camera and start shooting. I have no idea.
But something had to happen and I guess now was the right time for it. I got massively inspired by someone I met, who takes amazing pictures and I asked if he could recommend me some cameras and lenses to start with. I looked through his and other photographers' online galleries and since then all I've been wanting to do is shoot pics.
Additionally, Adrian has been wanting a good camera for a long time, too, so he had done all the research about the electronics, the lenses and such.
I was determined and eager to buy a camera in January, after all the Christmas stress.
So guess what I found under the Christmas Tree? Yes, I already told you: a camera.

And I am so happy with it that I want to take it everywhere. I do, too, and that's why I already got quite a few photos together in My Online Gallery.

Check it out and give me feedback - I still have so much to learn. But that's fine, right??
